The 48-year-old appeared on the show between 2006 and 2010 alongside David Tennant.

As fans will recall, Donna’s memory was erased, with many fans believing it meant she could never return to the show.

Catherine, however, believes she could still make a comeback.

She explained:

“I don’t know that I could with the way that Donna’s storyline went.

“Go back to before I came into it… That’s the way we get me back.”

Given the show is all about time travel, we don’t think that’s a bad idea.

It’s not the first time this week that Catherine has made headlines.

Her appearance on BBC Breakfast ended in disaster when Charlie Stayt tried to use her catchphrase, but got it completely wrong.Instead of quoting her show, he embarrassingly used a quote from Little Britain.Awkward.

Doctor Who will return to BBC One on Christmas Day for The Return of Doctor Mysterio.
