Jenna Coleman says she will not return to Doctor Who.



It’s not even been 8 months – and rumours that Jenna Coleman could be returning to Doctor Who are already starting do the rounds.

However in an interview with Collider , Coleman said  she may return to the BBC series:

“in the future”, ” it won’t be “for a good while”.

“We had the exit in the works for so long,” she explained.”

Last seen venturing of into time and space with Ashildr (Maisie Williams).

Clara was killed off in the dramatic episode ‘Face the Raven‘ – though the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) later extended her life, allowing his companion to travel the universe in her own TARDIS.

“You don’t want to unpick it, in any way,” Coleman said. “Steven [Moffat] spoke about the exit for so long, and I think he did such a great job.

“From ‘Face the Raven’ to the finale of twists and turns, I couldn’t really ask for anything more.”


Replacing Coleman is actress Pearl Mackie, who’s playing the Doctor’s new pal Bill in the next series of Doctor Who – due on BBC One Spring of 2017.
